MOU terms can create problems for the different parties in the eRecording transaction. Those parties include the recording office, portal provider (the recording jurisdiction contractor that provides the eRecording interface to the land record management system), the eRecording Provider (the conduit through which the documents are transmitted for recording through the portal or directly to the recording office), and the submitter (the party that initially sends the documents through the eRecording Provider to the portal or recording office).

This session will dive into the specific issues and provide guidance on applicable terms in an MOU between recording jurisdictions and eRecording Providers.
