The Uniform Law Commission (ULC) is a non-profit, state-supported organization that drafts legislation on areas of the law where uniformity across the states is beneficial. This program will provide

1. an overview of the ULC’s work and processes generally

2. a discussion of uniform acts that affect recorders, including the Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Act, and

3. an explanation of ways you can get involved with the ULC’s work on future projects
